Many hours ago, Zubby Micheal posted to his verified Instagram page to brag about the massive amount of money he spent on food. He uploaded a screenshot of a receipt he received from a restaurant in Lagos, Nigeria.
The news soon spread over the internet, prompting many Nigerians to take to social media to vent their feelings. However, the majority of those who responded applauded him, while only a handful chastised him for doing so.

He claims that it is always superstars from low-income families who flaunt their wealth. He then posed the rhetorical question of who Zubby was attempting to impress with his showy lunch. How did we arrive to this point, Uche Maduagwu asked.
He said he's never seen DJ Cuppy or the offspring of millionaires do anything like this. However, it is only children from poor families who behave in this manner. Uche Maduagwu concluded that while some of their relatives and families may not be able to eat three square meals a day in their community, they are in Lagos flaunting an 8 million naira food receipt.
